Coolant ratio / mix calculator.

Coolant runs best at the manufacturer's specified concentration — too rich wastes money and irritates skin; too lean drops corrosion protection and accelerates rancidity. This calculator gives the concentrate-to-water split for any sump size.

Mixing: For conventional water-miscible emulsions, add concentrate to water as directed by the supplier. Follow the product-specific procedure. This is a fresh-batch calculation, not a sump top-up recipe.
