Swiss-Type Lathe
Tsugami B0326II — what we run on it.
32mm-capacity Swiss-type lathe — bigger sibling to our B0205-III. Same guide-bushing precision and live-tool flexibility, scaled up to handle parts that exceed 20mm bar diameter. LNS bar feeder, 2,000 PSI through-tool coolant, fire suppression for titanium work.
01 · Sweet spot
Bigger Swiss-type work.
The B0326II runs the same Swiss-type programming and guide-bushing approach as the B0205-III but accepts up to 32 mm bar — about 1.26″. That covers a different volume of medical, aerospace, and defense bar work where the smaller B0205-III caps out.
- Larger medical instrument shafts and surgical-tool bodies
- Aerospace fittings & bushings in the 8–32 mm range
- Titanium turning — the integrated fire suppression makes Ti turning safe at production volume
- Defense pin and connector hardware larger than the B0205-III handles

02 · When NOT to pick this
Wrong-fit jobs.
- Bar < 20 mm with high L:D → Tsugami B0205-III (smaller, finer-feature optimized).
- Bar > 32 mm → Doosan Puma SMX 2600ST (3.0″) or Daewoo Puma 12S.
- Short / fat L:D < 1.5 → conventional CNC lathe; Swiss adds setup overhead.
- Complex 5-axis cylindrical → Doosan SMX 2600ST B-axis.
