Industries · UAV & Unmanned Systems

Unmanned aerial — where weight, tolerance, and reliability collide.

UAV programs are unforgiving: lightweight aluminum and titanium, 0.0005″ positional, gimbal mounts that hold sensor parallelism after a hard landing. We machine airframe, payload, and weapon-integration components for medium- and high-altitude unmanned platforms.

01 · Why UAV is different

Aircraft economics, tactical-system tolerances.

UAV programs sit between two worlds. The economics push toward high-volume production with tight cost per unit. The mission requirements push toward aerospace-grade tolerances on lightweight materials. Most CNC shops can do one or the other; UAV needs both.

Our 5-axis Kitamura Mytrunnion handles complex airframe components in a single setup. Our Tsugami Swiss-type produces small-diameter sensor and connector hardware in production quantities. Our Doosan DVF 5000 with 8-pallet automation runs lights-out for repeatable airframe parts. Same materials discipline (7075-T7351, 2024-T3, Ti-6Al-4V), same DFARS specialty-metals tracking, same AS9100 documentation across all of it.

02 · Components we make

Airframe to gimbal to weapon integration.

Airframe & structural

Bulkheads, frames, longerons, fairings. 7075-T7351, 2024-T3, Ti-6Al-4V. Tight TIR + parallelism specs.

Gimbal & payload mounts

EO/IR turret housings, sensor brackets, vibration-isolation mounts. Often weight-budgeted to 0.01 lb.

Engine & drivetrain

Mounting hardware, thrust-line components, bearing housings for piston, turbine, and electric propulsion.

Landing gear / recovery

Skids, tailhook lugs, parachute attachment, runway-launch hardware for RQ-7, MQ-9, MQ-1C class.

Munitions integration

Hardpoint adapters, pylon hardware, weapon-bay mechanisms. AGM-114 Hellfire is a primary integrated weapon.

Avionics & RF housings

Hermetic enclosures, controlled-expansion alloys, RF chambers — 6061-T6, OFHC copper, MIC-6.

03 · Platform classes

From hand-launched to MALE.

We machine for tactical UAS (Group 2–3), medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE, Group 4 — MQ-9 class), and target-drone programs. Component complexity scales with platform size; our equipment list scales to match — from Swiss-type for small connector hardware through 5-axis machining centers for full airframe sections.

For programs requiring secure tech-data handling, we follow ITAR-controlled transfer procedures outside this public site.

Precision-machined aluminum structural bracket — TPM production work

04 · Off our floor

Structural bracket work — production parts.

Precision-machined aluminum structural bracket — multi-feature with mounting tabs, counterbored holes, and angled interfaces. The kind of part that fits inside an unmanned platform’s payload bay or airframe section, weight-budgeted and toleranced to spec.

Specific platform, material grade, and customer held under ITAR / customer NDA.
