Nickel superalloy. Holds strength to 1300°F. Standard for jet-engine hot-section parts.

Whisker-reinforced ceramic for roughing; coated carbide for finishing; ceramic for high MRR
Workhardens severely. Constant feed, no dwell, light DOC on finish; ceramic tools for roughing run 5-10× faster than carbide.
